This virtual workshop involved an intergenerational, eclectic mix of participants from the city of Malden, MA. Held at the end of an unprecedented year full of anguish and uncertainty, a group of nine Maldenese came together for a single weekend to produce films exploring "the antidote to despair." This was Filmbuilding's first workshop involving adults, and the experience proved that discovery-based filmmaking can have a strong impact on people of any age.
